When Kennedy asked on their first date if she was a Republican or Democrat she replied that she did not know.
She claimed JFK got her pregnant and that she had an abortion.
She told a Senate investigating committee that she had never even discussed Giancana with Kennedy or vice-versa (1975).
She later told People magazine that she had delivered secret messages between JFK and the mafia chief (1988).
She speculated that the messages may have concerned rigging the 1960 presidential election in Illinois and plans to have the Mafia assassinate Fidel Castro.

She testified to the Senate on the condition that her identity be kept confidential, but her name was leaked to the media.
She told 'People' the additional revelations following a cancer diagnosis, saying, 'I don't think I should die with the secret of what I did for Jack Kennedy.'
She was portrayed by Natasha Henstridge in the film 'Power and Beauty (2002).'
She told columnist Liz Smith, 'I was 25 and in love. Was I supposed to have better sense and more judgment than the president of the United States?'
