    He lost his title at his first defense.

    At fifteen, he sparred with Muhammad Ali, who said he had 'championship quality.'
    He KO'd Mike Tyson in a sparring session (1989).

    There were major safety violations at his last fight, including no emergency oxygen or stretcher being available and the ringside doctor had a suspended medical license.
    The Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority adopted the 'Greg Page Boxing and Safety Initiative' to bring state regulations in line with federal regulations (2006).
