The Resume

    (December 27, 1571-November 15, 1630)
    Published three laws of motion
Published 'New Astronomy' and 'The Harmonies of World'

Why he might be annoying:

Based on Nicolaus Copernicus's work, he believed his theories applied to all planets, including the Earth.
Although he was correct, he never verified the proof of his work.
In order to formulate his theories, he had to steal secret information from his teacher, Tycho Brahe.

Why he might not be annoying:

Due to his laws, accurate predictions can be made on the orbit of planets and the return of comets.
Born and residing in Germany, he was able to work without major pressure from the church.
He said: 'By the study of the orbit of Mars, we must either arrive at the secrets of astronomy or forever remain in ignorance of them.'
His generalization that the laws of motion apply to all orbiting objects without verifying it in all cases, represent accurately that mathematical laws of science are universal.
