Original title was 'What's Lizzie Thinking?'
Synopsis: Sitcom about the personal life of teenage misfit Lizzie McGuire, her friends (Gordo and Miranda), family, and nemeses Inner thoughts are elaborately depicted by an animated version of Lizzie

Why Lizzie McGuire might be annoying:

The plot was highly unrealistic and often exaggerated about Junior High.
It made Hilary Duff a star.
It resulted with Lizzie McGuire merchandise and a movie.
Lalaine did not appear in the last few episodes and failed to appear in the movie, both for unknown reasons.
Adam Lamberg played a thirteen year-old, although he was, in real life, 17 years old.
Lizzie had a crush on Ethan Craft, who possessed the IQ of a Cinnamon Roll.
It was widely disliked by the age group it was aimed at (13 years old and older).
It guest starred Frankie Muinez, Aaron Carter and Haylie Duff (thanks to nepotism).
The animated Lizzie inside her head was irritating.
It is a show meant mostly for girls, but there are boys that watch it frequently.
Homage to 'The Breakfast Club' was payed as demonstrated at the end of the Food Fight episode, in which a letter is signed 'The Lunch Bunch' (oy vey).
Hilary Duff said 'I was going through what Lizzie was going through - that teenager stage where you don't really know who you are. It was a good thing for me, but I worked my butt off. Everybody made a big deal out of it, like it was this horrible split.'
Although Lizzie is suppose to be a social misfit she kissed Aaron Carter and date Frankie Muniz.
Although her mom made it clear the family was on a strict budget, Lizzie had a closet full of designer clothes.

Why Lizzie McGuire might not be annoying:

Lizzie went through the normal things a teenage girl would go through.
There was never a problem that could not be solved within one episode.
It won the 2002 & 2003 Blimp Award for 'Best Kid's Show.'
It was nominated for an Emmy for 'Outstanding Children's Program' twice.
    It preaches loyalty to friends.
Lizzie's mother seemed to be somewhat of a super mom.
Robert Carradine's half brother, David Carradine, guest starred in the episode, 'Between a Rock and a Bra Place.'
Lizzie's younger brother, Matt, hung out with a mute.
