He is probably the least known member of the Python troupe.
He was very much the straight man in his Python sketches and he often played women.
He has not been in the spotlight as much as the other Python alumni.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a successful writer for television and movies.
Many people believe that he is the most underestimated of all the members of Monty Python.
