Why he might be annoying:

    He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 1965 AFL Draft and never played for them.
    He spent the early stages of his NFL playing career as a backup.
    He and Roger Staubach got into a controversy over the position of the starting quarterback in Dallas.
    His tenure with the Giants was uneventful.
    He was 0-2 as a Super Bowl starting quarterback.
    Despite posting many yard completions, he tossed three interceptions which led to the Cowboys lost in his Super Bowl debut (Super Bowl V).

    He was also the starting quarterback in the Super Bowl debuts for the Cowboys and the Broncos.
    He established a Broncos record for yards per attempt with 8.5.
    He wore #7 in Denver before John Elway came along.
    He took part in the Harris Interactive College Football Poll as a voter (2005).
