Why he might be annoying:

He first began making sausage in a building built with open ends at his father’s suggestion so it could be converted to a machine shed if the sausage business failed.
He opened his first restaurant because local restaurants were not interested in buying his sausage.
He first named his restaurant the Sausage Shop.
Googling for him gets a lot of hits for movie producer Robert Evans.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was married to Jewell Victoria Waters for 67 years.
His sausage used prime cuts of pork instead of the scraps often used by other brands.
He said, ‘You might say the truck drivers did my market research for me. They would tell me that this was the best sausage they ever had, and then buy ten-pound tubs to take home.’
He was honored three times by the National Wildlife Federation for his conservation efforts.
He established a breeding program to preserve the Mustang barb stallion.
His old homestead was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
