He had his own variety show, ‘The Edward Woodward Hour,’ that flopped.
Woodward himself called it ‘the most embarrassing point in my career.’
He co-starred in Richard Gere’s critically panned movie about King David.
He didn’t age well.
He developed a big baggy double chin.
He left his wife for a woman 18 years his junior.
One critic described him as ‘William Shatner with a British accent’ (that’s gotta hurt).

He has excellent diction.
His mystery/horror film ‘The Wicker Man’ is a cult classic.
He was a good singer.

He had a heart attack during ‘The Equalizer,’ forcing its early cancellation.
