Why he might be annoying:

He is typecast as a sweet (but dumb) jock.
He doesn't have much acting training, and viewers can tell.
He plays basically the same character in almost all his movies.
He dropped out of college during his freshman year.
He smokes.
On the movie set, he only acknowledges people who work directly with him.
In third grade, he got into trouble with three others. He blamed the others and because he was a good student he was the only one not suspended.
After being busted for his second DUI (June 16, 2010), he checked into rehab later that same week.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a good high school athlete and all-around student.
He looks a lot like Keanu Reeves.
He was rated one of the 'Hottest Stars Under 25' by Teen People Magazine (2000).
He did not intend to start acting until he was discovered in his hometown by a filmmaker and was almost immediately cast in 'Election.'
