Why he might be annoying:

His nickname was 'the Ugandan Giant,' but he wasn't really from Uganda.
He played the role of a savage tribesman.
During a TV show in the 80's, the WWE made it look like he ate a live chicken.
He never spoke but instead, he made a lot of moaning sounds.
He was involved in a strange storyline where a manager tried to civilize him by teaching him how to bowl.
He had moons and stars painted on his torso.
He often smacked his belly.

Why he might not be annoying:

He ended up being one of wrestling's more popular characters after his days of competing in the larger promotions were over.
The man playing him got so involved in the character he actually went out in public dressed as the wrestler.
He was surprisingly mobile for a wrestler that weighed almost 400 pounds.
