    Recorded the songs 'A Minha Menina,' 'É Proibido Proibir,' and 'Suicida'
    Name is Portuguese for 'the Mutants'
    Their first two albums basically had the same title.
    They took a lot of acid.
    Rita Lee and Arnaldo Baptista were married for a year and then divorced.
    Lee either left the band or was sacked, depending on who you talk to.
    When the band reunited in 2006, Lee refused to join, saying her ex-bandmates wanted to 'earn cash to pay for geriatry.'
    Arnaldo Baptista tried to commit suicide and was institutionalized.
    They were among the leading lights of Brazil 's late-1960s 'Tropicalia' movement.
    They blended Brazilian pop and psychedelia.
    Their fans included Kurt Cobain, Beck and David Byrne.
    They reunited (minus Lee).
    They revolutionized Brazilian music even in the face of the country's military dictatorship.
    Rita Lee became a solo star in Brazil.
