He led Metallica's charge against Napster, which included banning users who downloaded their music.
His actions against Napster led to an extreme backlash against him and the band from many of their fans.
He was booed heavily for his actions against Napster at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
He is not computer savvy.

He is the drummer for an influential rock groups.
Growing up, he moved to the US from Denmark, as he aspired to be a tennis player.
He got into metal drumming by listening to Deep Purple.
He hates heavy metal cliches.
He enjoys scuba diving, skiing, going to the movies and forgetting about Metallica.
When Metallica won the Grammy for Best Heavy Metal Performance, he thanked Jethro Tull for not putting out an album that year as a reference to who won the last time they were nominated.
