    He looks pudgy for a catcher.
    He publicly ripped the Angels organization after he failed to negotiate a deal with them.
    He is considered one of the slowest baserunners by baseball pundits.
    He has enormous ears.
    He wears the goalie style catcher's mask instead of the traditional one.
    His brother Jose served as his backup catcher for the Angels.
    He broke Pudge Rodriguez's streak of 10 consecutive Gold Gloves at the catching position.
