Mr. Fuji
Please vote to return to collections (Voting Results will appear on Right Sidebar).
He was billed as a native of Japan, but he was actually born in Hawaii.
He usually wore a tuxedo and bowler hat that made him look like Oddjob from the Bond film 'Goldfinger.'
He frequently won matches by throwing salt in his opponent's eyes.
He and Don Muraco did a bunch of goofy 'Fuji Vice' skits.
He was the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Worst Manager of the Year 11 times (1984-85,1987-95).
He successfully sued the makers of the 'WCW vs. nWo World Tour' video game for including a 'Master Fuji' character without crediting him.
As a running gimmick on John Morrison and The Miz's webshow 'The Dirt Sheet,' they would throw salt in someone's face then run a clip of Mr. Fuji laughing evilly.
After leaving wrestling, he settled in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he became a movie usher and reviewer. (No word on whether he throws salt in the faces of punk teens who try to sneak into a movie for free.)
