Why they might be annoying:

They originally put advertisements in newspapers for band members to join and they got many people who were in their band for a short period of time but dropped out.
They did a commercial for Coca-Cola.

Why they might not be annoying:

One of the biggest influences on them was The Velvet Underground and they even portrayed them in the independent film, 'I Shot Andy Warhol.'
They've performed on a United States tour with Ray Davies of the Kinks.
They participated in Hanukkahpalooza, a holiday theme music festival with alternative bands.
Ira and Georgia have been husband and wife for many years and they are the only two original band members left.
Some of their songs are inspired by The Simpsons and they helped create a theme song for one of the shows.
For their New Years Eve 2004 performance, they dressed up as eggs and at midnight, they 'hatched.'
For many concerts, they dressed up in costumes to celebrate special events.
