She had an affair with gay singer, Johnnie Ray.
Her combative nature made her the least popular panelist on 'What's My Line?'
Critics say she cheated on the game show by peeking through her blindfold.
She was Joan Crawford's drinking buddy.
Frank Sinatra made fun of her looks and dubbed her 'the chinless wonder.'

Why she might not be annoying:

Conspiracy buffs believe she was 'offed' due to her research into the Kennedy assassination.
She was the first media personality to charge a conspiracy killed JFK.
Her reporting helped acquit Dr. Sam Sheppard in the murder of his wife. Sheppard had been wrongly accused of the crime.
She died in her apartment of a drug and alcohol overdose (1965).
