Pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles (1996-97), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (1998-2002), Texas Rangers (2003), St. Louis Cardinals (2003), Detroit Tigers (2004), Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2005-06), Cincinnati Reds (2006) and the Hanshin Tigers (2007)

Despite having an Asian name, he is not of Asian origin.
He was a journeyman player.
Despite being projected as a starter, he was mainly relegated to bullpen duties.
He frequently rotated between the majors and the minor leagues after leaving the Rays.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of the inaugural Tampa Bay Devil Rays roster (1998).
He recorded a .1000 batting average in only 2 at-bats during interleague play.
When he failed to make a second stint with the Orioles, he accepted his assignment to the farm team to become a mentor to the team's pitching prospects.
