Why they might be annoying
They moved from Iowa to New York (talk about a culture shock).
Kurt Warner could never lead them to the ArenaBowl championship.
They left Iowa for New York because the AFL needed to be in a larger market, despite New York having two unsuccessful tries at an AFL team.
Their mascot, Sparky is the same mascot as the New York Islanders.
Why they might not be annoying
Kurt Warner got his big start with them.
Warner was even the cover athlete and name sake of the first AFL Game (Kurt Warner's Arena Football).
Quarterback Aaron Garcia threw an AFL record 11 touchdowns in one game (2001).
They set a record by scoring 99 points in one game against the Carolina Cobras (July 7, 2001).
