Why she might be annoying:

NBC would not stop focusing on her parents while she competed at the 2012 Olympics.
She did not win a bronze medal in the women's all-around due to a tiebreaker that was to her disadvantage.
Likewise, she needed a protest to receive her bronze on the beam after initially losing to a tiebreaker again.
She is a Justin Bieber fan.
As a child, she would memorize the scores that each gymnast received for the team finals at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Why she might not be annoying:

She won more medals than any other American gymnast at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
She was the captain of the whole female American gymnast squad.
She is proud of her Jewish heritage and performed her gold-winning floor routine to Hava Nagila.
Her gold-medal winning floor routine was also a dedication to the Israeli athletes murdered during the 1972 Summer Olympics.
For luck, she always calls her parents before she competes.
