Featured Ed McMahon as announcer (1958-62)
Premise: The host would give a married man a category to a question, and the man would either answer the question himself or 'trust' his wife to do so

Why Who Do You Trust? might be annoying:

It is considered a knockoff of 'You Bet Your Life.'
Like 'You Bet Your Life,' the show focused more on the hosts' banter with the contestants, rather than the game itself.
The show is usually only remembered for launching Carson's career.
It is also responsible for launching Ed McMahon's career.
The show could be seen as sexist, with the husband making the important decisions.
A planned 2007 revival featuring Tucker Carlson as host never got off the ground.

Why Who Do You Trust? might not be annoying:

Carson's success on the show led on to him hosting 'The Tonight Show.'
Unlike Marx, Carson actively participated in demonstrating the contestants' hobbies and interests.
    It inspired 'The Newlywed Game.'
TV Guide ranked it as the 46th greatest game show of all-time.
Despite frequent 'You Bet Your Life' comparisons, this show managed to be a success on its own terms.
