Why she might be annoying:

She's said the improved scat line 'boop-boop-be-doop' that helped propel her into fame and became her trademark was actually 'an accident.'
She had a squeaky baby-like voice.
Her marriage to Joseph Kane lasted reportedly less than 5 years (which actually meant something back then).
She peaked years before turning 30.
The cartoon 'Drawn Together' depicts Betty Boop now as a fat pig with a saggy everything.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was very attractive and people found her baby-like voice to be lovable.
The 'Betty Boop' character is now legendary and is still running strong.
Although well known for being the inspiration for 'Betty Boop' she never made any money from the cartoon.
She toured with the Marx Brothers at one time.
