Why he might be annoying:

His nicknames were 'The King of the Movies' and 'The Handsomest Man in the World.'
He married four times and divorced three times.
He was secretly married to his frequent co-star, Beverly Bayne.
The discovery of his marriage is probably what led his career to take a nose-dive.
He was very short and often had to stand on a box to do scenes.
His agent, Harry Reichenbach, made him seem more popular than he really was. It worked getting him cast as Messala in 'Ben Hur: A Tale of Christ (1926).'
He appeared in serial films later in his career, such as 'The Three Musketeers (1933)' and 'Dick Tracy (1937).'
In the 40's and 50's, he appeared in many films portraying himself.
His son, Richard Stansbury Bushman, changed his name to 'Bayne' and committed suicide in 1957.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was awarded an honorary Golden Globe (1960).
He was incredibly good looking and had an excellent physique.
    He had six children.
His tombstone reads 'Francis X. Bushman: King of the Movies.'
Clark Gable eventually adapted the nickname 'King of the Movies.'
He donated land to Sid Graumann. Sid used the land to build the Graumann Chinese Theater.
Many critics prefer his chilling portrayal of Messala to Stephen Boyd's.
He has a star on the walk of fame.
