    He pitched a perfect game against the Atlanta Braves (May 18, 2004).
    He is the oldest to pitch a perfect game.
    He is the fifth pitcher to throw no-hitters in both leagues.
    He threw the first no-hitter in Mariner history and the first no-hitter in Diamondback history.
    Along with Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez, he's one of the most intimidating pitches in baseball.
    He's an extremely tall pitcher (6'10') that uses his height to his advantage.
    He tries hard to play through pain so that he doesn't have to have surgery during the season.
    He had a very memorable moments when he faced John Kruk in the 1993 All Star game. He let a 98 MPH fastball get away from him which almost hit John in head. He then, on three straight pitches, got John to swing at pitches that were way out of the strike zone.
    He donates time and money to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Salvation Army.
    He's fourth on the all-time strikeouts list and second among active players to Roger Clemens.
    He lead the N.L. in strikeouts for four straight years.
