Why she might be annoying:

    There exists minor online confusion as to whether her real first name is Adrienne or Patricia.
    Five years old, she joined her three older sisters to become their own group – which made the club rounds – for roughly 14 years.
    She did not move to Montreal with the family until she was 10.
    She admitted to being called ‘Cheetah’ – a reference to Tarzan’s pet monkey – in her formative years.
    Her first English-language album (1972, following two in French) yielded only one minor hit.

    Her little-known rendition of ‘Rock On’ (aka ‘Raconte,’ or ‘tell a story’) came out roughly a year following the original (not her only cover).
    She scored her own national prime-time TV show in the late 1970s.
    She spent eight years in France, during which she was a key player in Québécois-French cyberpunk rock show ‘Starmania.’
    In the little-seen film Yellowknife, where she played a version of herself, she performed ‘Sugar Daddy’ and three of her own original compositions.
    Though she was one of 10 children, she had only one.
    She is comfortable with having aged gracefully — arthritis notwithstanding.
