Why she might be annoying:

Her husband and another man beat fourteen year old Emmett Till to death after he allegedly whistled at her in their store.
It is possible that she participated in the beating death of Emmett Till.
She kept changing her story in court from Till putting his hand on her waist to merely whistling at her to calling her ‘baby.’
She cheered when her husband got away with murder.
She was a fairly attractive woman who did not age well.

Why she might not be annoying:

There is no evidence that she was directly involved with Till’s death.
She divorced Roy Bryant.
It is possible she didn't wish to harm Till, and was the victim of her controlling husband.
She never told her husband about the Till incident until he confronted her after being told by one of their children.
