Why he might be annoying:

The 'G' stood for 'Gamaliel.'
At twenty-seven he suffered a nervous breakdown and was placed in a sanitarium.
He married a divorcee five years his senior (1891). He referred to his domineering wife as 'The Duchess.'
While married he carried on affairs with other women especially a permanent affair with the married Carrie Phillips (1905-20).
He had an affair with Nan Britton, who was thirty-one years younger than he (1917).
He fathered an illegitimate daughter (1919).
He administration was involved in 'The Teapot Dome Scandal.'
His English was so poor that author H.L. Mencken called it Gamalielese, saying it reminded him 'of dogs barking idiotically through endless nights.'
Some claim his wife poisoned him at fifty-seven, because she forbid an autopsy, but stroke is the official cause of his death (August 2, 1923).
He was the first president to die while his father was alive.
His advisors were known as the 'Poker Cabinet' because they played poker together.
He died owing his stockbroker $180,000.

He was the first president to own a radio and the first to speak over the radio airwaves.
