The Resume

    (July 25, 1974- )
    Born in Annapolis, Maryland
Developer of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
Co-executive producer of ‘Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony (2012)’
Creator of the Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls toy line
Director of the Sony feature MEDUSA (2014)
Mrs. Craig McCracken (and supervising director for the Powerpuff Girls)
    Twitter: fyre_flye

Why she might be annoying:

She is opposed to romantic plots.
‘Cartoons for girls don’t have to be a puddle of smooshy, cutesy-wootsy, goody-two-shoeness.’ (Like they ever were.)
Because she was aiming for grade-school girls, the sudden emergence of a male fan base, which came to be known as ‘bronies,’ initially surprised her.
She considered herself a tall and lanky teenager with large feet — the basis for Wonder Girl (as in the very short-lived ‘Super Best Friends Forever,’ with Batgirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman as teenagers).
In one capacity or another, she was involved in almost all of her husband’s productions.
Curiously, she was only involved in her signature show – inspired by her favorite childhood toy – for about a year.
One can only imagine how she would have fared had the new Pony series not interfered with the Galaxy Girls project.

Why she might not be annoying:

With three brothers and no sisters, it seemed only natural she’d take an interest in their favorite stuff.
Name any TV show in the 1980s; chances are, she’s watched it.
She considers stereotypes and misconceptions about female role models less of a reason for their failure than how they’re written, produced, or directed.
‘Think of the girls. They need to believe that the stuff they like isn’t stupid.’
She has neatly unified male, female, child, and adult alike in a mutual love of the newest (at the time) My Little Pony entry.
She managed to maintain a vibrant university-age look into her 40s — sometimes with onion-red hair.
