    (April 1, 2009- )
    Sire: Flower Alley
    Dam: Arch's Gal Edith
    Owner: J. Paul Reddam
    Trainer: Douglas F. O'Neill
    Jockey: Mario Gutierrez
    Career earnings: $2,092,600 (through mid-2012)
Winner of the 2012 Kentucky Derby and 2012 Preakness Stakes
His name was inspired by Reddam's reply when his 'wife asks him if he wants more of her fresh-baked cookies.'
After winning two Triple Crown races, a tendon injury forced him to forfeit the Belmont stakes.
Many horse racing fans were disappointed that another horse failed to win the elusive Triple Crown.
Media outlets began comparing him to fellow racing horse plagued by a career ending injury, Barbaro.
He became the third horse, after Bold Venture in 1936 and Burgoo King in 1932, to be scratched from the Belmont Stakes after winning the first two legs of the Triple Crown.
He is the first horse in the history of the Kentucky Derby to have won from post position 19.
His victory was a surprise given the strong field of competitors entered in the race.
In both of his races, rival horse Bodemeister was considered the favorite to win.
Gutierrez described I'll Have Another as 'an amazing horse.'
