Head coach for the Phoenix Suns (2018-19)
Head coach for the Georgia men's national basketball team (2008-15)

Why he might be annoying:

He was a coaching nomad in the NBA ranks.
He was fired after one season as the Suns head coach.
He struggled with adapting to the rigours of being a head coach.
His tenure as Suns head coach saw the team record two losing streaks of 10 or more games in a row.
His head coaching style was seen as being too laid back.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the first non-North American to hold a coaching position in NCAA basketball history.
He was the first foreign born head coach in NBA history.
He earned a championship ring as a member of Larry Brown's coaching staff in Detroit (2004).
He was involved in an auto accident and sustained injuries that prevented him from continuing his playing career, so he opted to pursue a career in coaching as a way to stay in the game.
Many basketball pundits came to his defense when word of his firing in Phoenix became public, citing he was put in a position to fail as a result of the dysfunction in the club's front office.
