Radio Personality
    (January 21, 1974- )
    Birth name John McManus
Appears on the Austereo network in all states on 'Saturday Morning Rove' since 2000
Hosted the ARIA Awards several times and also hosted the television coverage of Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras
Guest Appearances on 'Recovery,' 'The 10:30 Slot,' 'The Super Debates,' 'Good News Week,' 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' and 'The Panel'
Had his own show 'Rove' (now cancelled)
Writes for and hosts his own successful variety show 'Rove Live' since 2000 (much the same as his previously cancelled show)
Provided a voice for 'Finding Nemo (2003)'
Shortly after receiving his big break with Australia's highest rating station, he was axed.
He tries to coin phrases such as “Say hi to your mum for me”.
His attempts at humor often fall flat, which he then proceeds to make a joke about.
He once interviewed Elmo from Sesame Street.
His show is usually a farce and contains some horrid sketches (such as 'Rampaging Monkeys' where men in monkey suits run around the set for a while or 'Who's in the swivel chair?' where a mystery guest – usually a washed up Aussie star – is pushed around the set on a desk chair by a model).
He seems to host everything that the station he works for gets the rights to.
He had to work from the bottom to reach his current status. He started off on a community TV station.
He invented a dance that actually caught on all over Australia called 'the etcetera.'
He is able to make fun of himself.
He stuck by his girlfriend Belinda Emmett through her bout with breast cancer.
His guests always seem to like him and he has since developed a great rapport with stars such as John Travolta, Hugh Jackman, Anastacia and Destiny's Child.
In what is somewhat of a rarity for Australian television, his interviews are actually funny and interesting.
