Why they might be annoying:

They were originally called Gary and the Nite Lites.
After their hits stopped, they shortened their name to the Breed.
They may not technically be one-hit wonders, but 'Bend Me, Shape Me' is the only one of their hits anyone remembers.
'Bend Me, Shape Me' was used in commercials for Flexon eyeglass frames, Mercedes Benz station wagons and Gap stretch jeans.

Why they might not be annoying:

After further changes in name and personnel, the band evolved into the funk group Rufus.
Loizzo founded his own recording studio and was twice nominated for a Grammy for 'best engineered album' for Styx's records 'Cornerstone' and 'Kilroy Was Here.'
After the Chicago White Sox won the 2005 World Series, they reunited to record the song 'Rock with the Sox.'
