Why he might be annoying
His animation is not great by 21st century standards.
Lots of crappy live-action movies have been made based on his cartoons.
He did a lot of crazy promotions and campaigns for himself, one in particular was 'Statehood for Mooselvania,' where he went as far as writing a letter to the President and trying to crash the White House.
He stole the ideas for his two most famous characters, Rocky the Squrriel and Bullwinkle the moose, from his friend Alex Anderson.
Why he might not be annoying
He graduated Berkley and Harvard.
He worked in Real Estate and advertising, the animation was just a hobby.
He inspired many later animators like Matt Georing and John Krisfulusi.
He created many memorable characters.
