Why he might be annoying:

During a game against Chicago, he knocked out his brother-in-law John Allred.
He gives constant helmet-to-helmet hits and he is one of the most frequently fined players in the NFL.
Like many players, he left the team he had played with and been a fan favorite with through free agency.
He shares his name with an actor and governor.
He grew up a San Diego Chargers fan, and went on to play for one of the Chargers’ rivals, the Denver Broncos.

Why he might not be annoying:

Unlike many free safeties, he can play the run well and cover receivers one-on-one.
He is one of the hardest hitters in the NFL.
He won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Bucs in his hometown of San Diego.
He was a dual sport athlete, and threw out the first ever pitch for the Florida Marlins organization, while playing for the Marlins minor league team.
He is the godfather to one of Herman Edwards’ sons.
He was one of the main factors in making the Tampa Bay Bucs a respectable team.
His late interception during a 2006 playoff game against New England ended all hopes of the Patriots winning a third straight Super Bowl.
