The Resume

Golden State Warriors fan and co-owner
    Silicon Valley-based billionaire
Managing partner of S-Cubed Capital (Menlo Park, California)
Ejected from the fourth quarter of Game 3 of the NBA finals after a physical altercation with Kyle Lowry (June 6, 2019)

Why he might be annoying:

While chasing the ball, during a Warriors home game Kyle Lowry landed in a fan’s lap, accidentally bumping into Stevens.
He briefly shoved Lowry away from his seat, prompting the Raptors star to angrily confront him, walking away shaking his head (Stevens appeared unapologetic throughout).
Lowry angrily complained to referees, resulting in him being removed from the arena.
Lowry later told ESPN: 'We love our fans. But fans like that shouldn’t be allowed to be in there, because it’s not right. I can’t do nothing to protect myself.'
The fallout from the altercation resulted in the NBA banning him for one year from attending games, in addition to hitting him with a $500,000 fine.
The dual punishment is arguably counterproductive, as he stands to make a $180 million profit from selling his NBA season tickets in any forced sale (not to mention his Warior share holdings) - proportionally making the NBA fine the equivalent of a parking ticket.

Why he might not be annoying:

Some of the harassment he received on social media crossed the line.
He publicly apologized the next day, saying there was 'no excuse' for his behavior.
He reportedly called Kyle Lowry and other members of the Raptors organization to apologize directly.
He has pledged to donate half of his fortune (valued at $2.3 billion) to charity.
When he purchased a partial stake in the team in 2013, executive chairman Peter Guber said that the tech investor 'will prove to be a tremendous asset to our organization.'
Hey, its totally possible he just held his arm out to pull him up and accidentally shoved Lowry, right? (nah)
He was a unifier in that he earned rebukes from both LeBron James and Golden State Warrior players (and we all know only one other guy can do that...).
