    Born in Brooklyn, New York
    Won the Billiards Congress of America (BCA) US Open title six times and World Open seven times
    Five time BCA Player of the Year
    Inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame (1985)

Why she might be annoying:

    She was a child prodigy, first coming to the public's attention at age 6 in a pool exhibition at Grand Central Station.
    She lost a chance at a college softball scholarship after she won the second place prize money on ABC's 'Superstars' and was ruled a professional athlete.
    She was suspended for 'unsportsmanlike conduct' after a microphone picked up her complaints about her opponent making lucky shots (1988).
    Shortly after, she retired, blaming 'A little burnout, a little frustration.'

Why she might not be annoying:

    She became the first woman to qualify to play in the men's division of the World Open (1978).
    She was described as 'the pool equivalent of Billie Jean King.'
    At 26, she was the youngest inductee into the BCA Hall of Fame.
