Why he might be annoying:

He was a member of a terrorist organization called Egyptian Islamic Jihad.
He assassinated Anwar Sadat for making peace with Israel.
He wasn’t supposed to participate in the parade Sadat was also participating in, but went there anyway when an officer chose not to participate.
The Iranian government called him a ‘martyr’ and subsequently named a street in Tehran after him (1981-May 2001).
He is seen as a role model for Islamist terrorist organizations.
His younger brother attempted to assassinate Hosni Mubarak (June 22, 1995).

Why he might not be annoying:

He graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy with highly good grades.
