She thought the script for Casablanca was old-fashioned and clichéd.

She made her film debut in the classic 'Casablanca.'
She was originally hired for only two weeks, but she was on the set for two months because her schedule was repeatedly changed to accommodate the higher-paid actors.
Her son Gregory became a writer and producer.
