The Resume

    (April 8, 1940- )
    Born in Wilmington, Delaware
    CNN political contributor
    Panelist on Crossfire (1996 - 2005)
Host of 'The Bill Press Show'
Chairman of the California Democratic Party (1993-96)

Why he might be annoying:

His show, 'The Spin Room,' with Tucker Carlson was canceled after only a few months.
In four years, he published two books back-to-back: 'The Obama Hate Machine' and 'Buyers Remorse: How Obama Let Progressives Down' (make up your mind!)
He waged an early campaign against the national anthem, calling it 'stupid' and 'unsingable.'
He tends to go for the jugular with his political rhetoric (for instance, likening criticism from Michelle Malkin to 'being criticized by an ant').
He has a penchant for comparing Republicans he dislikes to either Nazis or KKK members.
Syndication for his radio show was dropped after it switched over to the Young Turks Network.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is a devout Catholic.
He was active in Republican politics before becoming a Democrat.
He was an aide to California Governor Jerry Brown.
He won four Emmys and a Golden Mike Award.
His short-lived show with Pat Buchanan was canceled after the two refused to argue about the Iraq War.
