Why she might be annoying:

Her most successful film, ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ was directed by her mother.
Almost every review of ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ noted that she looked and sounded almost exactly like her mother.
The only film she had a starring role in, ‘Shelia Levine,’ was a critical and box office bomb, with the San Francisco Examiner noting, ‘Jeannie is cold and hasn't the inner glow, the appeal and magnetism that an actress needs to carry a film.’

Why she might not be annoying:

She was largely raised by her maternal grandmother, Ida Berlin, and used ‘Berlin’ as a stage name in her honor.
She said, ‘Nobody believes me, but I did have to test for it [‘The Heartbreak Kid'] just like everybody else – even though the director was my mother.’
For ‘The Heartbreak Kid,’ she won awards for best supporting actress from the New York Film Critics Circle and the National Society of Film Critics, and was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
