    Convicted of second degree murder (June 26, 1992)
    Sentenced to 25 years to life
    Dubbed the 'Fatal Attraction' killer
    She had a history of obsessive behavior toward men.
    One ex-lover, Paul Laven, obtained a restraining order against her after she deluged him and his fiancee with calls and notes and falsely claimed to be pregnant with his child.
    After killing Betty Jeanne Solomon, she met Paul at a restaurant, then had sex with him in his car.
    During the trial, she complained, 'Somebody tripped me judge... Nobody cares about me.'
    She inspired dueling TV movies in 1992: 'The Danger of Love' and 'A Murderous Affair.'
    She was a teacher at the prestigious Greenville Elementary School in Scarsdale, New York.
    Her arrivals at court in tight miniskirts were popular with photographers covering the trial.
    She claimed to have been abused by prison guards and received a $10,000 settlement from the Department of Corrections (2008).
