Why she might be annoying:

    Her name sounds like anthrax.
    She died too young (15 years old).
    Her diary proved that she acted like a snob.
    She had problems getting along with her hide out mates.
    One quarter of her diary was missing for more than a decade because her father Otto Frank removed it from her actual draft. The missing parts were mostly about Anne criticizing her parents.
    The train that transferred her family and their hide out mates was the last train to transferred Jews during WW II.
    She called her diary 'Kitty.'
    Her diary was made public.

Why she might not be annoying:

    The house she hid in (in Amsterdam) is a museum.
    Her diary is a triumph of the human spirit; it preaches tolerance.
    The writing on her dairy was very impressive, considering her age.
    Although she rarely got along with her hide out mates, she was deeply in love with Peter, a boy who lived in the hide out with her. Their love story is heart-breaking.
    The full copy of her diary was not released until the mid 90's (adding 100 pages).
    Her diary is the most widely read diary.
    Asteroid #5535 is named in her honor.
