The Resume

    (May 1, 1908-June 15, 1952)
    Born in Warsaw, Poland
    Nom de guerre 'Christina Granville'
    Special Operations Executive (SOE) agent
Murdered in a hotel room at 44

Why she might be annoying:

She grew up a daddy's girl.
She fell in love with fellow intelligence officers, marrying one and taking another as a lover.
While negotiating with the Gestapo, she seemed to have no idea the danger she placed herself in, exclaiming later, 'What have I done! They could have shot me as well!'

Why she might not be annoying:

She served as a secret agent longer than any other woman in World War II.
She earned France's Croix de guerre and was awarded the UK's Officer of the British Empire (OBE) for her contributions.
After World War II ended, left penniless and effectively stateless, she took a job as a stewardess aboard a cruiseship.
A co-worker, angry at her rejection of his advances, stabbed her to death.
Graced with dazzling beauty, a strategic mindset, and daring, she inspired the 'Bond Girl' in Ian Fleming novels.
