    Recorded the albums 'The Great Adventures of Slick Rick' (1988), 'The Ruler's Back' (1991), 'Behind Bars' (1994) and 'The Art of Storytelling' (1999)
    After accusing his cousin, Mark Plummer, of ripping him off, he shot Plummer and a bystander, then led police on a two mile chase (July 3, 1990). He served three years for attempted murder.
    He wore an enormous amount of gold and diamond jewelry, including necklaces with giant pendants, bracelets, large rings on each finger and gold teeth.
    He was a guest vocalist on the World Wrestling Federation album 'WWF The Music Vol. 5.'
    As an infant, ge was blinded in the right eye by broken glass.
    The INS made three attempts to deport him to England (1997, 2002, 2006) even though he has lived in the US since he was eleven.
    'The Great Adventures of Slick Rick' was chosen by 'The Source' as one of the 100 Best Rap Albums.
