    Died of chronic ischemic heart disease at age 38
    She was married and divorced twice.
    She had a nervous breakdown.
    Fans did not take to her attempts at shedding her wholesome Disney image with more mature roles.
    Initial reports of her death incorrectly claimed she had choked to death while drinking tea.
    She was named 'Miss English Television' of 1958.
