Wrestler

The Resume

    (September 20, 1982- )
    Born in Monterrey, Mexico
Birth name is Dulce Maria Garcia-Rivas
Lucha Libre wrestler for Mexico's AAA wrestling federation (2007-February 2013, December 2013-February 2016, July 2017-present)
Starred in the El Rey TV series 'Lucha Underground' (Seasons 1-3, 2014-2017)
Became Lucha Underground champion at Aztec Warfare 3 (losing the title to Johnny 'Mundo' Morrison shortly afterwards)

Why she might be annoying:

    What a ring name!
    She is short (5'3").
She has a very limited wrestling moveset.
Much of the 'Lucha Underground' roster say that she was difficult to work with.
'Lucha Underground' producers claim she was never meant to win a Championship - she only won it because the show's other more capable female wrestlers were on the injured list at the time.
She announced her retirement from wrestling in 2016 to go into boxing...only to change her mind a year later.
Her decision to return to wrestling led to AAA simply giving her back the Women's Championship title, much to the discontent of longtime rival Taya Valkyrie whom the title was abruptly and inexplicably stripped from.
She enraged the pro-wrestling community when at Triplemania XXV (August 26, 2017), she was shoot-fighting against opponents Lady Shani and Rosemary, culminating in Sexy dislocating Rosemary's arm with a rough armbar.
(She was forced to surrender the AAA Women's Champion title and has been blackballed by many wrestlers and events over the incident.)
She had a child out of wedlock (August 2013).

Why she might not be annoying:

    She is physically fit.
Her match against Mariposa (aka 'Cheerleader' Melissa Anderson) on the 2nd season of 'Lucha Underground' was lauded as one of the series' most memorable matches.
Also, she's been able to hold her own against many male wrestlers on the 'Lucha' roster.
She did a tasteful nude photoshoot for the Mexican edition of ESPN Magazine's Body issue.
She's dealt with domestic abuse in her past.
As a 'face' wrestler on 'Lucha Underground' (at least before the 2017 Triplemania incident), she intended to be a positive and inspiring role model to young women and girls ('Every woman is Sexy, every woman is a Star.')
