    Three-time NL RBI Leader (1887, 1894-95)
    Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee (1974)

    He claimed he wouldn't play for the Phillies following the 1893 season over the team's performance and management, but chose to return for the next season.
