    Defense for the Nashville Predators (2002-10) and Vancouver Canucks
    Won gold medal as a member of the Canadian Men's Ice Hockey Team at the XXII Winter Olympics (Sochi 2014)

    He is a pretty boy.
    He was returned to the Western Hockey League as an early cut shortly after the 2001 NHL entry draft.
    The 2004-05 NHL lockout affected his productivity after a breakout season the year before.
    He is easily injury prone.
    He was part of the 2010-11 Canucks team that lost the Stanley Cup Finals to the Boston Bruins.

Why he might not be annoying:

    During his WHL career, he helped the Prince George Cougars advance to the Conference Finals.
    In 2001, he was awarded the Bill Hunter Memorial Trophy as the WHL's best defenseman and Four Broncos Memorial Trophy for player of the year.
    In 2004, he ranked tied for third in point-scoring and second in average ice time among the NHL's rookie defensemen.
    He helped the Predators earn their first playoff berth that same season.
    Despite being invited to the 2012 IIHF World Championship tournament, he declined because he wanted to spend time with his wife who was about to give birth to their third child.
    Despite being a devout Christian, he is very funny and humble, and he has been involved with numerous charities.
