To anyone that doesn't follow country music, they might think they only recorded 'Kiss You All Over.'
They had 35 different members over the course of their existence.
It took 15 years after they formed until they experienced mainstream success.
The domain name of their official website is exile.biz.
Quote from J.P. Pennington about how the band got their name: 'There were a lot of Cuban exiles coming across...the word was in the news and we felt we were also somewhat ostracized from the local society. We had long hair back then...'
Upon having some songs become successful singles for country acts (ie Alabama and 'Take Me Down'), they decided to go the country route.
They ended up having 10 songs that reached number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and another three that reached the top ten.
They had 13 award nominations between the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
When original lead vocalist Jimmy Stokley was dying thanks to having hepatitis, they performed a benefit for him.
