    With Johnny 'Guitar' Watson recorded 'Two For The Price Of One' and 'Mercy, Mercy, Mercy'
    Found shot dead in his home

Why he might be annoying:

    He was a pimp before and after his hit-making days.
    He did time for dealing drugs (1960).
    He tried unsuccessfully to relaunch his career as a disco singer in the 70s.
    He pulled a gun on former friend and labelmate Little Richard in an argument (1977).
    After his death, an Illinois blues singer named Martin Albritton began performing as the 'real' Larry Williams.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He started as singer Lloyd Price's chauffeur and valet before getting the chance to record.
    The Beatles covered three of his songs: 'Slow Down,' 'Bad Boy' and 'Dizzy Miss Lizzie.'
    'Bony Moronie' was named to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of '500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.'
    Although his death was officially ruled a suicide, it was widely rumored to be a murder.
