Attempted to assassinate Russian leader Vladimir Illyich Lenin (August 30, 1918)
Executed without trial by firing squad at age 28

Why she might be annoying:

She was caught at age 16 transporting bombs and sentenced to life at hard labor (mining) in Siberia.
When she was let go at age 27, rather than return to civilian life she plotted to shoot Lenin.
Though she hit Lenin in the jaw and left shoulder (a third bullet passed through his coat) he survived.
Immediately after her failed attempt the Bolsheviks began their reign of Red Terror, executing around 800 political opponents without trial.

Why she might not be annoying:

11 years of hard labor caused her to lose her eyesight and suffer from severe migraines.
An operation partially restored her sight.
Through days of interrogation she refused to give up her co-conspirators.
Soviet propaganda painted her as an evil sociopath but some saw through the whitewash and hailed her as a martyr.
On April 1, 2002, a bronze monument of her was erected in her honor in Moscow.
